Over 40 Years Experience

Bob

After 40 years of working as a realtor and over 25 years as a certified appraiser I decided to open my own realty/appraisal firm, Cantin Property Appraisals. Armed with the most up to date appraisal and inspection software Cantin Property Appraisals strives for faster turnaround times and at very competitive rates. It is my goal to get to know each of my client’s wants and needs and let them know a little about me as a starting point for a good working relationship. My wife Bernadette and I have lived in Regina for all of our lives. We have three grown children and are proud grandparents of two grandchildren.

With an engineering background, I started in real estate in 1978. I sold new homes for six years with one of the Regina’s largest home builders, Carins Homes. In 1984, I joined the Association of Regina Realtors and Century 21 Clear & Prior and managed a number of new home builders for them. As a real estate agent and appraiser, it has been an honour to have achieved some important milestones and been the recipient of many awards. Among these are becoming a member of the Re/Max Platinum Club, the 100% Club, and the Re/Max Hall of Fame. In 2011, my name was listed as one of the Top 10 agents in the Regina/Re-Max offices

When I’m not working in real estate, I volunteer in the community. My past volunteer activities have primarily been with the Aboriginal community of Regina and included participation on the Board of Namerind Housing Corp and the Regina Aboriginal Co-Op. I am currently serving as President on the board of the Circle Project Inc., which is a community agency that offers self-development programs and counseling services that focus on creating a comfortable, engaging environment for Aboriginal people. From assisting those facing domestic violence to the infant and toddler centre, The Circle Project truly cares about people of all ages and backgrounds within the community-click on the link to their web site to learn more. Other community activities included the nomination committees for the United Way, a number of Task Forces, and other committees concerning Aboriginal Issues, including Employment, Housing, and Justice.
